Benefits of being a MOMS Club® Member
Being in a MOMS Club® is a wonderful way to meet other at-home mothers in your area. Our numerous special interest groups, weekly activities, monthly membership meetings, and fieldtrips to area attractions encourage you to get out and explore the Douglassville area with other moms who share your same interests and concerns. The Club also offer a monthly Moms Night Out at a local restaurant or a member's home for moms to get out of the house and have some much needed adult interaction. We try to have a good mix of free and paid activities on each monthly calendar and usually have two to three activities planned per week. All our activities are planned with moms and children in mind. Our members' children are expected and encouraged to be a part of all our activities! We have activities for moms of infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school aged children (MOSAC - Moms of school aged children)...there is something for everyone!
Community Involvement
All MOMS Clubs® are committed to performing community service projects that make a difference in their communities. The Clubs conduct various fundraisers and events each year to benefit local charities and philanthropic causes including a semi-annual (spring and fall) clothing and equipment sale and an annual Preschool Information Faire to benefit the parents of the community in their decision-making for preschools.
Playgroups
The MOMS Club® organizes playgroups that connect you and your children with other moms who have children the same age as yours. Our playgroups are one of the most important aspects of the MOMS Club® since it allows you to have your own mini-support group within the larger Club.
MOSAC
"Moms of School-Aged Children". Are all your kids in school? No problem! We have activities geared to the children in school that begin after school lets out. Also, we have fun activities planned for the Moms to keep busy during the day when all their children are in school!
Newsletters
All members receive a monthly newsletter that includes a calendar of Club events and activities, announcements and articles of special interests to our members and mothers in general.
Helping Hands
After a birth of a child, or during a family emergency, we offer all of our members Helping Hands. Other members of our group will generously cook you and your family dinner to help you have more time to concentrate on the things you need to concentrate on!
Unlimited Rice Crispy Treats and Juice Boxes!
